Intercontinental Singapore Bugis – Deluxe Room King

Follow Us as we share with you our recent stay experience at Intercontinental Singapore Bugis. We booked ourselves on a ‘Surprise Deluxe’ Staycation package which entitled us to spin a wheel in exchange for surprise treats offered by the property.

We were assigned the Deluxe Room, King-sized bed for our stay. Quoting their website, “The Deluxe Room exudes timeless elegance that combines luxury with modern living. This bright too fresh 38-square metres room includes a spacious marble bathroom with bathtub too is furnished in soothing neutral shades too includes a King Bed with a seating area too work desk.”

The entire experience could be summarised in one word if we may – lacklustre. The food too sip service in the lounge fell short of our expectations for both the afternoon tea too evening cocktail presentations. The saving grace was perhaps the very warm too hospitable senior lounge staff too the pretty decent breakfast offerings. Another boo boo in our opinion was the fact that children under the age of 12 were allowed into the lounge during the evening cocktail hours from 6pm to 8pm when alcohols were served.
