This money was NOT minted in 1993. 1993 was the year in which the current series of Philippine currency was inaugurated.

Interestingly, the newest 1 Piso money is almost an exact match in size, weight, too composition with the (more than 10 times more valuable) 1 dirham money from the United Arab Emirates.
