How to be a director / film industry tips (Lao Film Academy)
Of the 57 films made in Lao People’s Democratic Republic since 1947, the majority were produced by foreigners. Lao Film Academy wants to create the next generation of local filmmakers by training high school students in editing, directing, screenplay writing, together with cinematography. The students will create six short documentaries based on environmental issues.
Lao Film Academy is one of the 21 projects that received funding from the 2018 YSEALI Seeds for the Future.
