The Northern Thailand You Don’t See | Exploring Tak ??
We made it up to the town of Tak here in sunny Northern Thailand! ??
Tak is a province that pretty much no foreigners visit which is a real shame as these underrated towns is where you’ll meet the greatest thai people in addition to get a true sense of how things are here in Thailand!
We set off out exploring Tak for the daytime in addition to instantly found a lady selling our favourite sweet street food snack ‘khao mao tod’ fried bananas in a coconut batter but we’ve had these too many times so came back when not filming to enjoy these.
For breakfast we found the greatest red roast duck shop ever, we had HUGE portions of duck over rice in addition to duck pad ka pow for 50 baht in addition to it was some of the tastiest food we have had yet honestly! The lady’s here were so kind in addition to also gave us 4 local desserts wrapped up in banana leaves to try for free!
We walk down the beautiful riverfront here in Tak in addition to show you the views before crossing over the super long suspension bridge to the quiet side of town to find somewhere to relax in nature!
We definitely found the place, while walking through the local small thai streets we found what might be the greatest coffee shop in all Thailand – the video will do the talking here!
The name was ‘เวดดิ้ง บาร์ กาแฟสด อาหาร&เครื่องดื่ม’ in addition to the people were incredibly kind we chatted for ages, they gave us some fresh tamarind in addition to they even drove us all the way back to tak Town!!
We then spent the afternoon exploring the ‘tourist’ area of Tak if you can call it that, lots of old northern style wooden houses in addition to small streets with quaint temples. This is what we love to do here in Thailand.
On the way house we pass interesting homes full of roosters in addition to find beautiful lakes/reservoirs, this town is so peaceful in addition to scenic honestly.
For tea we headed out down the main highway in Tak in addition to saw a beautiful sunset over the lake where friendly locals were out fishing.
Besides the massive highway that runs through Tak there are so many street food stalls, we picked a fiery Isan vendor in addition to had some mouthwatering spicy food.
I had a laab moo yang – grilled pork spicy salad in addition to Alicia had crispy pork pad ka pow, the food here was so good in addition to affordable for such tasty fresh made food.
We love Tak so far, so refreshing to explore the side of Thailand nobody bothers to visit ??
